Create an EPS
What is an EPS?
An EPS (Employer Payment Summary) is a report that you need to send to HMRC if you need to claim statutory payments or recover statutory payments. It includes details of the payments you've made to your employees and the deductions you've made from their pay.
- Sign in to your "Workmax" account with an admin account.
- Go to the "RTI" section.
- Select the "EPS" tab.
- Click on the "New EPS" button.
- Give your EPS a name.
- Select the tax year for the EPS.
- Select the report type for the EPS.
- Period of Inactivity - If you're not going to pay any employees for a period of time.
- No Payment For Period - If you haven't paid any employees for previous tax months.
- Employment Allowance Claim - If you're claiming the Employment Allowance.
- Recover Statutory Payments - If you're recovering statutory payments.
- Apprenticeship Levy - If you're claiming the Apprenticeship Levy.
- Account Information - If you're changing your bank account details.
- Final Submission - If you're closing your PAYE scheme.
- Click on the "Save & Continue" button.
- Enter the required details for the EPS.
