Edit a timesheet

Sometimes, you may need to edit a timesheet after it has been submitted. For example, you may need to correct a mistake, add missing information, or update the hours worked. With Workmax, you can easily edit timesheets to ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date.

note

You can only edit timesheets that have not been approved by your manager. If a timesheet has been approved, you will need to contact your manager to make any changes.

How to Edit a Timesheet

Employee Profile

  1. Sign in to your "Workmax" account with an employee account.
  2. Go to the "Timesheets" section.
  3. Select your name from the list of employees.
  4. Click on the "View" link.
  5. Find the timesheet you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button.
  6. Update the timesheet details as needed.
    • Start time
    • End time
    • Breaks
      • Start time
      • End time
    • Earning type (Regular, Overtime, etc.)
    • Hourly rate (Optional)
    • Client (Optional)
    • Project (Optional)
  7. Click on the "Save" button.

Workmax will now update the timesheet with the new information. Your manager will get a notification when you submit the edited timesheet, and they can approve or reject it. If you have any questions or need help, please contact Workmax Support.

Manager or Admin Profile

  1. Sign in to your "Workmax" account with a manager or admin account.
  2. Go to the "People" section.
  3. Select the employee from the list of employees.
  4. Click on the "Timesheets" tab.
  5. Click on the "View" link.
  6. Find the timesheet you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button.
  7. Update the timesheet details as needed.
    • Start time
    • End time
    • Breaks
      • Start time
      • End time
    • Earning type (Regular, Overtime, etc.)
    • Hourly rate (Optional)
    • Client (Optional)
    • Project (Optional)
  8. Click on the "Save" button.
