Edit a timesheet
Sometimes, you may need to edit a timesheet after it has been submitted. For example, you may need to correct a mistake, add missing information, or update the hours worked. With Workmax, you can easily edit timesheets to ensure that they are accurate and up-to-date.
You can only edit timesheets that have not been approved by your manager. If a timesheet has been approved, you will need to contact your manager to make any changes.
How to Edit a Timesheet
Employee Profile
- Sign in to your "Workmax" account with an employee account.
- Go to the "Timesheets" section.
- Select your name from the list of employees.
- Click on the "View" link.
- Find the timesheet you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button.
- Update the timesheet details as needed.
- Start time
- End time
- Breaks
- Start time
- End time
- Earning type (Regular, Overtime, etc.)
- Hourly rate (Optional)
- Client (Optional)
- Project (Optional)
- Click on the "Save" button.
Workmax will now update the timesheet with the new information. Your manager will get a notification when you submit the edited timesheet, and they can approve or reject it. If you have any questions or need help, please contact Workmax Support.
Manager or Admin Profile
- Sign in to your "Workmax" account with a manager or admin account.
- Go to the "People" section.
- Select the employee from the list of employees.
- Click on the "Timesheets" tab.
- Click on the "View" link.
- Find the timesheet you want to edit and click on the "Edit" button.
- Update the timesheet details as needed.
- Start time
- End time
- Breaks
- Start time
- End time
- Earning type (Regular, Overtime, etc.)

- Click on the "Save" button.
