Request Paternity Leave
Paternity leave is a period of time that a father takes off from work to care for a new baby. In the UK, employees are entitled to paternity leave and pay if they meet certain criteria. This guide will show you how to request paternity leave in Workmax.
How paternity leave works?
- Paternity leave policy: Your employer will have a paternity leave policy that outlines the paternity leave entitlements and requirements for your company.
- Paternity leave request: You can request paternity leave through Workmax. Your employer will review your request and approve or reject it.
- Paternity leave pay: If you are eligible for paternity leave pay, your employer will pay you for the time you take off to care for your new baby. The paternity leave pay will be based on your paternity leave policy and the number of weeks you are off work.
You are entitled to a maximum of 2 weeks' paternity leave. You can choose to take either 1 or 2 weeks' paternity leave.
