You must notify your employer as soon as possible if you are unable to work due to illness. You may be required to provide a doctor's note or other medical documentation to support your sick leave request.

How sick leave works?
- Sick leave policy: Your employer will have a sick leave policy that outlines the sick leave entitlements and requirements for your company.
- Sick leave request: You can request sick leave through Workmax. Your employer will review your request and approve or reject it.
- Sick leave pay: If you are eligible for sick leave pay, your employer will pay you for the time you take off due to illness. The sick leave pay will be based on your sick leave policy and the number of days you are off work.
Employee Profile
- Sign in to your "Workmax" account with an employee account.
- Go to the "Time off requests & policies" section.
- Select a Sick Leave Policy.
- Click on the "Request Time Off" button.
- Enter sick leave details
- Start date
- End date
- Doctor's note or other medical documentation (Optional)
- Notes (Optional)
- Click the "Submit" button.
Workmax will now process your sick leave request. Your employer will be notified, and they will review your request. If you have any questions or need help, please contact Workmax Support.
