Change Employee Tax Details

You can change the tax details of an employee in Workmax. Follow these steps to change the tax details of an employee:

  1. Sign in to your "Workmax" account with an admin account.
  2. Go to the "People" section.
  3. Select the employee you want to change the details of.
  4. Select the "Job & Pay" tab.
  5. Click on the "Edit" link in the Tax details section.
  6. Change the details you want to update.
    • National Insurance Number
    • Tax Code
    • Week 1/Month 1 Indicator
    • National Insurance Category (A, B, C, etc.)
    • Student Loan Plan Type (Plan 1, Plan 2, etc.) (Optional)
    • Yes/No to "Is this employee a director?" (Optional)
    • Yes/No to "Is this employee off-payroll (IR35)?" (Optional)
    • Yes/No to "Is this employee a irregular payment worker?" (Optional)
    • Yes/No to "Is this employee a striking?" (Optional)
  7. Click on the "Save" button.
