Change Employee Tax Details
You can change the tax details of an employee in Workmax. Follow these steps to change the tax details of an employee:
- Sign in to your "Workmax" account with an admin account.
- Go to the "People" section.
- Select the employee you want to change the details of.
- Select the "Job & Pay" tab.
- Click on the "Edit" link in the Tax details section.
- Change the details you want to update.
- National Insurance Number
- Tax Code
- Week 1/Month 1 Indicator
- National Insurance Category (A, B, C, etc.)
- Student Loan Plan Type (Plan 1, Plan 2, etc.) (Optional)
- Yes/No to "Is this employee a director?" (Optional)
- Yes/No to "Is this employee off-payroll (IR35)?" (Optional)
- Yes/No to "Is this employee a irregular payment worker?" (Optional)
- Yes/No to "Is this employee a striking?" (Optional)
- Click on the "Save" button.
